One Good Reason!

We can have 1,000 reasons NOT to do it but all you need is ONE GOOD WHY!  One good reason can get you through a lifestyle change and help you to kickstart a good habit!  You are 100% worth it.  Make time now to take care of you or you will have to make time later for someone to take care of you.  Find that one good reason within and put all your focus there.  That reason will be the one to carry you over the obstacles.

A few years ago, I found myself with two very little littles at home and I was wondering how I was ever going to get out of the house again to exercise regularly.  As the days went on, it became harder to get into that routine. I got frustrated!  Frustrated enough to try something I thought I would never try….an AT HOME workout.   At the time, I had 1,000 reasons why this would NOT work but somehow, I gave it a shot and focused on that one reason….I wanted to feel good!

I’ve realized that change happens when we decide and commit to ourselves.  Whether you want to feel better, have more energy, look stronger, feel happier, tone up, try a new career,  it all starts with  YOU!    The change will come when you decide to take action.

Yes, we can all say, ‘I can hold myself accountable’.  ‘I will go to the gym 3 times this week but in reality, other things get in the way and if you only have to convince yourself that it is ok for you to stay in bed, chances are, you may win.  The real changes come when you find a way to hold yourself accountable with others on the same path!

FullSizeRender.jpgBecause I trusted that one reason, I have changed my life and has opened my eyes to different ways of health, wellness, fitness.  Just as important, I have found new ways to fuel my kids with ways to lead a healthful lifestyle. Each day, I am guaranteed to have my hour of ME time before anyone in the house is awake. Why am I guaranteed this? Because I have made a commitment to MYSELF and no one else. I have made that commitment to set my alarm at 5AM each and every morning (some weekend mornings I “sleep in” until 6:00AM) so I know that nothing will get in my way. There are no excuses here. When there is a will, there is a way!   Do you have ONE GOOD REASON?  What is it?
